Florida offers several licensing paths. For property and casualty insurance, explore the 2-20 General Lines or 20-44 Personal Lines courses. For life and health insurance, choose the 2-15 Life, Health & Variable Annuity course, the 2-14 Life & Variable Annuity course, or the 2-40 Health course. Already licensed? A 2-20 conversion course is available for applicants who meet Florida’s qualifying license and experience requirements.
Interested in customer service or claims adjusting? AIC’s Chartered Customer Service Representative (CCSR) designation provides a path toward the 4-40 Customer Representative license, while the Registered Claims Adjuster (RCA) designation provides a path toward the 6-20 All-Lines Adjuster license. Earning the applicable designation qualifies applicants for an exemption from the corresponding state licensing examination. AIC also offers exam preparation for the 3-20 Public Adjuster license, which has separate eligibility requirements.
Course completion is one part of becoming licensed. Your next steps depend on the license and your qualifications and may include a state examination, application, fingerprinting, and an appointment. Review the Florida Department of Financial Services requirements for your chosen license before enrolling.
