The purpose of this course is to provide you with the tools to better inform your customers about 403(b) Plans.
The purpose of this course is to provide you with the tools to better inform your customers about 403(b) Plans. In the first Module we are going to discuss a brief History and Overview of 403(b) Plans. In the second Module we delve into the different types of 403(b) Plans. In Module Three we discuss 403(b) Plan Contributions and Withdrawals. The course concludes with Module Four a review of the “Working-Definitions” of 403(b) Plans and Investing in general. This course also includes an Appendix on the Time Value of Money. Please note that many of the concepts in the Appendix are “advanced”. You should review this material but you will not be test on it.
This course makes a few assumptions about you the student:
- You are a currently licensed Insurance Agent or Adjuster.
- You are interested in additional information, resources, and knowledge regarding the inner workings of 403(b) Plans and Investments in general.
In insurance, as in all sales fields, the more familiar you are with a product, the more knowledgeable you can be in assisting you clients and ensuring their understanding of products so that they may make clear and concise decisions. If you are planning on selling financial services products, you should dedicate enough of your time to learning how they work using resources like this course. You do yourself and your clients great service when you effectively communicate how financial services products can benefit them.

This course consists of four Modules; each Module concludes with a Key Takeaway section; these are important and are the basis of the Module Quizzes and Final Exam.
