Ethics for Producers and Adjusters Self-Directed Study Course

The purpose of this course is to equip insurance Agents and Adjusters to perform their duties ethically.

This course does not include the California Department of Insurance’s required one-hour Agents and Brokers Anti-Fraud Training. As such, the one hour of study of insurance fraud requirement will not be met upon completing this course.

The purpose of this course is to equip insurance Agents and Adjusters to perform their duties ethically. In the first Unit we discuss ethics and the law. In Unit Two we discuss how to best protect your client’s data. In the third Unit we address sales and service practices; and in the fourth we review claims settlement practices. We conclude the course with a review of ethical theoretical models and the A.C.R.E. model.

What is a Self-Directed Study Course? With Self-Directed study you will study the course content at your pace (with no unit quizzes), and then you will take a non-proctored, open-book Final Exam. Simple as that. You can take the Final Exam as many times as you need to pass the course.

This course makes a few assumptions about you the student:

  • You are a currently a licensed Insurance Agent or Adjuster.
  • You are interested in additional information, resources, and knowledge regarding Ethics.
