The purpose of this course is to better equip you in your professional activities as an Insurance Agent or Insurance Adjuster. Although estoppel and implied waiver are often considered interchangeable in insurance cases, there are important differences between these doctrines. The core function of estoppel is to protect the parties’ reliance interests.
