Claims-Made Coverage Analysis (Colorado course)
The purpose of this course is to better equip you in your professional activities as an Insurance Agent.
Welcome to the Claims-Made Coverage Analysis continuing education course which will discuss the claims-made liability policy form. This is a Colorado specific course and all of the laws referenced in the course are Colorado based. This course is required by all agents that sell claims-made liability policies in Colorado.
In this course you study liability claims-made policy forms and coverages. We use the ISO Commercial General Liability CG 00 02 04 13 policy form as an example of a claims-made form initially and follow up with some examples of professional liability claims-made policies protecting the insured against claims from alleged acts, errors, or omissions in their performance professional services.
This course makes a few assumptions about you the student:
- You are a currently licensed Insurance Agent or Adjuster.
- You are interested in additional information, resources, and knowledge regarding insurance and the legal environment of business in general.
