Ridesharing – Classroom Equivalent

The purpose of this course is to better equip you in your professional activities as an Insurance Agent or Insurance Adjuster.

The purpose of this course is to instruct insurance Agents and Adjusters in the realm of Ridesharing. In the first Module we discuss an overview of Livery Exposures and the “new” Sharing Economy in general. In Module Two we discuss Ridesharing exposures and insurance. In the third Module we review some Ridesharing/Livery laws in selected states. In the fourth Module we review selected Ridesharing/Livery case law reviews. Also please be sure to review PP 23 41 10 15 – Appendix A and PP 23 45 10 15 – Appendix B included in this Course; there will be Final Exam questions regarding these endorsement.

This course makes a few assumptions about you the student:

  • You are a currently licensed Insurance Agent or Adjuster.
  • You are interested in additional information, resources, and knowledge regarding insurance and the legal environment of business in general.

The state of Texas requires 50% of your Continuing Education hours to be either Classroom or Classroom Equivalent.
